17.1C here but the slither of a plume of 15C 850s was over us at 6am then gone by 7.

20c here briefly this afternoon, but unofficially.  It stuck around 19c most of the day. .

Where? The warmest I’ve seen is 20.9°C, which would be rounded to 21, but I haven’t seen anywhere reach the 21°C threshold yet.

Met office twitter also has this as the daytime high maximum. Very nice for April but nothing exceptional or out of the normal.

Date records for the first week of April are around 23 to 25 C, the stand-out years being 1946 and 2011. So nearly 21C is not too unusual.
