Just popped in to see how how far below average April was so far since it has been perpetual wet, cold and miserable here with some cold nights and just the odd decent day but no real warmth at all.

Indeed. And the halves are reversed from their usual April order. Still early days but I'm expecting the 2nd half of April to end up being some 3C cooler than the 1st half!

Having gone for 9.52C I'd pretty much written that off at one stage. Now it looks like not being the disaster it quite easily could have been. Still, we should edge up a little in the last few days of the month.

Same for me Caz. In my case I seem to swing the wrong way every month, after moments of exhilarating hope!
