Will March be the coldest month of "winter"??

Happened in 2013 and came within inches of happening in 2006 (that mild final week of March prevented it being much more notable)
Somehow I can't see it this year, expect a mild second half to come and take us nearer the 6.5-8c range where most modern Marches ends up

I still find it strange to think that in the 11 years since no month of any name has been colder than March 2013 ! (Feb 18 and Jan 21 the closest )

I refuse to believe we won't see such cold again though

Cold here so far at 4C (-1.3C)
Much milder later this week for a while but it will be a slow struggle to get back to normal getting on for halfway through.

CET already comfortably above average and with some very mild day and night temperatures expected for the next 7+ days. The question is just how much warmer than average will it end up at.

Looking at these - I reckon I'm in with a chance - Never thought I'd say it - But now reckon I've gone too low.
There's a few days forecast with daytimes of 15C and 16C and nightimes of 9C and 10C. Those translate to means of 12.5C and 13C. 😮
