High tides yesterday causing some riverside flooding in the Arun valley

even backing up across the footpath

but this popular riverside pub is just high enough to be clear ( the Black Rabbit, Offham)

A year or two ago this was an ashwood; the saplings I looked at are now all beeches

and a pleasant surprise - wild primroses already in flower in woods by the river
