All of the overnight rain, sleet and snow has now cleared away from here although there is still a lot of cloud around.
Although most of the snow has gone from here in the north of Edinburgh, there are still a few bits of it on the rooftops and in a few grassy areas with Arthur's Seat looking very white in the distance.
Since 9am (09:00 UTC) yesterday morning, a total of 13.6 mm of precipitation has fallen at Edinburgh Gogarbank along with 10.4 mm at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh with a lot of that falling as sleet or snow.
Meanwhile, the temperature at 8am this morning was still around 1°C here in Edinburgh.
