That same old borefest which I see all the time up in Edinburgh appears to have followed me to here in the Scottish Borders as well as I have woken up to yet another frost-free hell with some cloud, bits of clear sky and with nothing that is even remotely interesting in terms of our weather actually happening.
Currently around 4°C here in Hawick.
Grey and murky, also damp after 4.2 mm of rain fell in the early hours. 10.8 c. It was quite breezy earlier on this morning but seem to have fallen calm now.A bit of a comedown after yesterday's fine weather but it is exactly as forecast.

...and 20 minutes later, the wind is now from the NW, there's been some rain (a squall line showed up on the radar, hence my earlier post) and it's now 9.5C. Not the most active of fronts, but a nice enough drop in temperature.
