The tropical maritime type airmass being firmly entrenched with thick "gof" earlier on this morning, it is burning away now but at 19.3 C and 96% humidity giving a dewpoint of 19 C, the air is feeling laden and saturated.

The sun is properly out at this end of Kent, thus caused temps to rise to 24.5 C but humidity falling down to 76% giving a DP of 20 C. Summer proper is coming back home. Although to be fair, SSTs around the Kent coast are in the region of 18 C to 19 C according to latest data.

Been quite bright today although cloudy for the most part, the sun has started to shine in the past hour or so, temperatures have crept up to about 24C. A decent day overall compared to others and  hopefully the day can now end on a sunny note.

Glad to see you're all having a super afternoon- I was worried about my instruments after the GFS and the Beeb forecast; we're expecting 20C and cloud, although the Beeb has changed this to 20 and sun (as the sun has, after all, made a good show). Currently 24C and only 2 little distant clouds to the N.
