As the evening has gone on, it has become increasingly sunny and in the end, this has resulted in a total of 6.4 hours of sunshine being recorded for today at Edinburgh Gogarbank.

As the Sun has now set, the temperatures are now falling away under those clear skies and so, the temperature at 10pm tonight was 14.6ºC at Edinburgh Gogarbank, 14ºC at Edinburgh Airport and 14.6ºC at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
