This morning is the second sunniest morning of my Scottish Borders trip so far, beaten only by Thursday morning.

There is still a lot of cloud around just now, but with some sunshine getting through at times with a temperature of around 17°C.

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.

Amazingly warm this morning. 23.0C at 9am is just incredible. Some lenticular patches and a moderate to fresh breeze - this isn't like Scotland!

25.8C here but not impressed. Only sunny in the morning. Almost full overcast all afternoon and about 15 minutes sun since noon Horrid, humid feel as well. Can't ever recall such high temperatures accompanied by crap weather here before. A total waste of time. 17C and sunny is better.

Very much akin to what the weather was like in Puglia last Tuesday which was the only poor day in my fortnight there.
