Keep tabs on this one - The BBC reported that Scotland could get a new all time max temperature record - either today or tomorrow.

There has been some amazing temps in the north west - what with Liverpool about to get to 32C today.

At 1100 BST it was 28.1C in Aviemore compared to 25.9C yesterday, and 27.9C at Aboyne compared to 23.2C yesterday. Watching with great interest how the afternoon progresses.

Glasgow airport and Strathallan in Perthshire both reporting 30C just now. Both official sites. May just stop short of June record of 32.2C Maybe more chance of the NI record going this afternoon though?

Glasgow Bishopton got 31.6C so not quite the June record.

Met O now confirmed Glasgow Bishopton max as 31.9C so missed out on the Scottish June record by 0.3C.
