Low risk of more than a local tsunami because earthquake was 'strike-slip' i.e. two plates moving horizontally past each other so no displacing large amounts of water.

Didn't feel anything here. Must be too far away.
I slept through the 2008 one so I have yet to experience what an earthquake feels like.
Weren't we warned 2018 might see an uptick in quakes?

Early days though.
Saw a map on the news last night showing locations of earthquake reports - didn't notice Dublin as I was too busy scanning the south coast for the brief time it was shown. But on the south coast, reports as far east as Southampton and Winchester and all points west from there to Cornwall. Nothing noticed here in West Sussex.
With the magnitude of 4.4, it was a significant earthquake. Some damage has been reported in Bristol;
