not a great day for Bristol Footie fans City 0-4 middlesborough James off. Carlisle 4-0 Rovers Coles off I think both sets of fans will be avoiding winding each other up. Carrot crunchers (yeovile) have won as well which is bad for my lot. a long way to go this season but serious relegation issues at Rovers

James' red card will be overturned on appeal. Poor result, worse performance. Two players short of a side capable of challenging for the top of this division. It's that tight. As we showed a few weeks back when we had everyone fit, we were hammering everyone and were top of the current form league. Since then we've lost a couple to injuries and results have turned again. Strength in depth is vital in this league. We are in no danger or relegation, it's just going to be a long, boring second half of the season. I left with 15 mins to go today. Didn't feel any real emotion than boredom

Anyway Cardiff away up next for the orn's.

Barnet 1 - 1 Shrewsbury...........not a disaster, but not the result Barnet need given their current position especially given the home advantage Underhill provides. I don't think the team will be particularly happy about their performance today, but with Fairclough back in charge of the team they have started to fight, something they weren't doing a couple of weeks ago. I think they've probably turned the corner now, but given the extra games they've played, Barnet need to start picking up points against beatable sides.

I'm sure Tricky will have similar arguments about his team

Yes, we finally won a game!    And if the other scores stand, we've moved above Bristol as well

Edit: no we don't - stupid BBC were showing the updated table based on current scores, not the table at the start of the day    But we have a game in hand, so we will soon be above Bristol

And you're pleased? Going back to when you last posted in here when you were talking about promotion, you are now in a relegation dogfight 😂 Good game today was it? How have you been performing in respect of results of late? Who has impressed you most in the team and who do you think you should get rid of? How has the atmosphere been at home games? Have the fans been getting on the players backs?....

Just watched the second half of QPR v Coventry. Scrappy, but QPR deserved the win. Great goal from Routledge. Genuine question: Why are QPR so badly supported? Top of the league and there were 13k there today? Seems extremely odd, not just given the fact they are top, but especially their geographical position. Is it the ground? The owners? Something else? When you look at pretty much all the other London league clubs. Even the likes of Charlton struggling in the league below get bigger attendances😕 Fish, any ideas?

Just really hope we can avoid defeat on Tuesday and reach the final. especially since the comments from that t*t Fabregas, who seems to think that teams assembled with tiny budgets should play open expansive football to the Arsenal Foreign legion and their deathly quiet prawn sandwich supporters.

Pity we couldn't have played a real football club like Tottenham in the Semis where at least you know you generally get an intense atmosphere.

And in this recession the fact that it was live TV will have knocked a bit off. I didn't watch it, but if it was on free to view TV then that will also make a big difference. Our opening game against Derby attracted 26,500 when 30,000+ would have been anticipated had it not been on the BBC.

They might not get hammered 4 or 5 , but they will get beat.

As for the fan issue, yes sadly some Arsenal fans are quiet , only because their mouth is full of prawns. A sign of the times whern you have a 60,000 ground which is FULL. Many aren't of the variety that shout and gester , I am sure if Ipswich could fill a ground that big( borrow some Norwich fans maybe) with the facilities that Arsenal have then they will probably attract a fan that is less inclined to shout about.

Personally I think singing is what fans should do.

As for fans, I'd always rather it was 15'000 supporters supporting "Our" Town and "Our" County than 50'000+ quietly supporting a Brand club. I remember going to Portman Road for the 93 FA Cup QF and the Arsenal supporters were amazing back then, there was a fair bit of trouble before and after the game, but the atmosphere made the hairs stand up. In contrast,I've never heard such a large away following make as little noise as Arsenal did 2 weeks ago, what a change in 18 years, they were like a bunch of cardboard cut-outs!
