As I have a lot of ground to make up in the competition again this year it is time to start making a few slightly higher risk predictions.

I think there is a decent chance of a very warm September this year. So I am going to go for September being warmer than both August and June (a la 2006)

This month is hard because the opening week, whilst warm, doesn't look exceptionally so and the hints are there in the models that the high pressure might retrogress to become a northern block at some point...

Just above average at 14.6c for me please

Another difficult month to predict, the warm start could give a bit of false hope for a significantly above average month overall, but we'll see.

Gonna punt for 14.66C, a cool end to the month just bringing the CET down a tad.
