Not suprising, all the models concer with that. But what about the strat warming? That cannot be ignored and won't affect us until the last part of the month. 

I think I'm going to change my figure down to 4.88C, I already have a penalty so its not going to get any worse :)

Here we go now that Met Office Hadley has produced a figure..

Met Office Hadley     4.6c     Anomaly  0.4c.     Provisional to 1st.

Metcheck                 5.89c.  Anomaly  1.69c.

N-W                       6.21c.   Anomaly  2.01c.

Mount     Sorrel       5.87c.  Anomaly   1.60c.

My     Mean             4.7c.       

Here are the predictions for February. 62 in total

First look at how the February CET is shaping up. Looks very similar to January at the moment with the mean at 5.62C by the 16th.

Think I am well out of this one unless we get a February 2005 event 😟

I do think alot of people have overestimated their CETs. I see very little chance February will be as mild as january, most of the time we will be in a returning polar airmass which means average or only slightly above average temps, and the potential for some cold days. 

And the last half of the month is still up for grabs; none of us should give up hope of a cold spell until february has passed.
