Preditably another shambolic performance from us. Worst defence in the league by a country mile. Less shots on goal than any other team in the league by a country mile suggests a very long and difficult season indeed. The fans could all see the defensive failings yet we brought in striker after striker. No injury excuses today as the defence was only one short of full strength. Attendances falling with the interest. Me included. I saved myself £50 today and stayed home 😂 😂 Had my lunch, had a shower, got changed, sat downstairs and thought "Do you know what? I can't be bothered" the kids weren't fussed either, so we didn't go. Top decision listening to the commentary on the radio 👍

No, 30 years and tens of thousands of pounds spent is dedication. Today was a step too far and it's been coming. Your boys (who you never go to see) may have turned the corner as far as luck is concerned. The team you were playing skied a penalty at 0-0. The knee-jerk appointment of Millen smacks of the tinnion appointment some years back. He'll be gone by Xmas. It could be too late by then

I've only ever seen Town play once    Although I've also been to Portman Road to see the likes of Dire Straits, Tina Turner, Bryan Adams, Quo etc

That's why I buy a season ticket. I never have that dilemma. I'm in until I can't afford a ST. If I actually had to pay match by match then I might think twice on occasions.

You are quite right, 2 wins in a week, if you had spoken to these guys this time last week though they would have been mumbling stuff like "at this rate we could even be in a relegation fight" etc. Funny old game

Isn't that the guy who SEMerc quoted the Mirror on saying he'd moved to us?

Just had a quick flick back through this thread and the Prem thread. Can't find anything? Although only went back a few pages on each. I googled it and according to a couple of sites you were after him but he got injured? Which would explain why he's with us now 😂

Assuming the story is true Caulker is an excellent addition.

Hmmm...at the moment the only exclusive bit about the Mirror story is that he hasn't signed for us at all lol.

There have been rumours for a couple of weeks or so on our main message board but from what I can tell it's not imminent, though as with the brilliant signing of Sanchez Watt for a year from Arsenal we do tend to do these things under the radar.

This one on 4th August

Ah right 👍 Sounds decent then. Mind you we have a large squad of quality individuals that can't play together to save their lives

Looks like some very entertaining matches last night in the championship... Some great attacking play or just shambolic defending..? Good to see Pompey stringing together a cple of results. The city and its fans deserve it.

Shambolic defence in our case, and indeed Preston's in the first half.

If nothing else I witnessed history being made. The first time we've ever conceded 6 at home.

If there is a drawing board then it's back to it I'm afraid.
