This forecast you released of the Braer storm from 10th January 1993 really is remarkable.
With a possible low central pressure of 909mb near Iceland, although wikipedia goes for 914mb.
Scotland really got a battering with blizzards and 100mph gusts.
Even more interesting was the persistence of quite cold conditions and snow forecast as far south as North Wales in raging westerlies. No doubt they were so strong they blew cold air all the way from Canada.
Great stuff Kev.
I built this snowman of myself.
