I think "now" is off the mark though, because "extreme weather events" have been the main selling point for convincing the public of AGW for twenty years or more, especially by the politically motivated press. (and if AGW as sold is true, rightly so)
What is this "nonsense", you so readily identify? Personally I would like to see more of this sort of nonsense. I can only assume that you refer to the paper in the link as nonsense? If so, which part do you find nonsense?
