Everything taken together, here in Lincolnshire are more good things than man could have had the conscience to ask.

Saw a faint greenish glow in the northern skies from Ringinglow, Sheffield. Managed to take photos of it but not sure how to upload them here.

China's Space Plane a naked-eye object.
Until this week, you probably didn’t even know China had a space plane. Suddenly it’s in the news everywhere. On Oct. 26th, the Defense Intelligence Agency released this image:

Chinese state media call it "Chongfu Shiyong Shiyan Hangtian Qi" - meaning reusable experimental spacecraft. It flies to space like a rocket and lands on Earth like an airplane. Western observers have nicknamed it "Shenlong" ("Divine Dragon"). It is currently on its fourth mission since 2020.
If your skies are clear...

SWIFT IS FALLING TO EARTH THIS WEEK:
NASA's 1.5-ton Swift space telescope is falling to Earth faster than expected.
Forecasters say it will disintegrate on Nov. 3rd or 4th, creating a fireball that could be visible even in daylight.
