27.1c the high today even with a bit of peak afternoon cloud around, even still 1c above what the GFS modelled so pretty close. There was obviously very little chance that anywhere would get to 30c today, as much as some think it should, sigh!!

The low earlier was 12.4c, a glorious morning although was getting quite warm by the time we finished our run at 9:30 or so.

Started off sunny, min of 15.6c which rose to 20.8c.

We just had our usual 6 drops of rain and now the skies are clearing again, jealous of 0.8mm.

No idea what the temperature is but it is very mild again with steady light rain that's been going on for most of the night.

Excellent precipitation that percolates the dry soils. Hope it lasts for the day.

A day unlike any other for several months - overcast with persistent light rain, and much cooler than of late too. 14.9, dew 13.7, and that's the same as the overnight low. Yesterday's high was a sultry 26.1, and there's been 1.4mm of rain so far with the promise of more to come!

Remarkably cold here now, following almost 12 hours of rain! It seems there's a cold spot, so to speak, following in the immediate wake of the rain, with a cluster of 13s and 14s showing up on Weatherobs locally. (FWIW you would expect 20 at this time of day, yesterday it was 25.3 at this time!)

13.3, dew 12.3, following some 20.3mm of rain - the joint wettest day of the year so far. The high was 17.8 - at midnight! It's been between 15 and 16 for most of the day.

Indeed, as soon as the rain cleared here, the temperature fell as the sun appeared.

The current F4 wind makes it feel even chillier. Autumnal even.

I think the low here was at about 1pm, 13c. The rain stopped and clouds cleared at 3pm and we managed to get 17.5c or so, certainly the coolest day for a long while. Still managed to get a running clothes wash on and out at 4pm and dry by 5:30!
