it did passed here quickly but stalled over north of here so I watched the storms which was cluse enough overhead to view. Just finally to catch 2 lightning streak and was so bright white as I never seen for many years, used to be often in the 80's and 90's storms. The storm more hard on at Leicester tonight. Had quite an amazing night in Sheffield (between 11.00 pm - 1.00 pm), too, with some brilliant flashes of lightning and a few loud bangs and rumbles. Absolute torrential downpours.
