Yes, well above the 15 or 16C difference you'd expect at this time of year! Dry soils and the dry airmass will have helped boost things a bit. 

Talking of which, it's 23.5, dew 8.7 here - that's the lowest daytime dewpoint since mid-May, just before our weather went crazy! The high today was 24.5, and whether at the beach, in the park, walking down to the farm down the road, or even in the back garden... it's felt more pleasant than it has for a long time.  

14.3, dew 12.3, following an overnight low of 12.1. Yesterday's high was 24.5.

The warmest place in Edinburgh today was the botanic gardens where the maximum temperature actually reached 20.31°C although that was the only location in Edinburgh to record a 20+°C maximum today.

Nevertheless, today was warmer than yesterday with a bit more in the way of sunshine in the earlier part of today in particular.

It won't last, of course; today's high is going to be something like 27 or 28, and thus the next heatwave begins. Yesterday's high was an average 23.8.

It's 18 C now and quite gloomy as two rain bands approach

High was 27.8c before 2pm, low was 7.8c so a very rounded range today. Last of the cooler nights for a while.
