My dewpoint is 22C at the moment! 🥵The plume lingers on here, and I note (using Weatherobs, which has official stations) the 20+ dewpoints extend from my part of the world all the way to Sweden, such is the expanse of that hot, moist air. There's rain just to the west and beyond that is the holy grail of dryer, less humid and more sleepable air... so near but so far. 

Overcast, 26.3, dew 22.0, the high being 27.7.

There was a bit more in the way of sunshine this afternoon with still continuing on into this evening but it has been quite a windy day and as at 7:40pm BST (18:40 UTC), a total of only 4.5 hours of sunshine had been recorded for today so far at Edinburgh Gogarbank which is still not enough to bring this month back in with a chance of being sunnier than average in the end with only 3 days left of this month.

As I write though, the temperature is still a rather sticky 20°C here in Edinburgh.
