Last night was rather chilly with an overnight minimum temperature of 2.3°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank, though not quite cold enough for a ground frost on this occasion.

There was a little bit of overnight rain as well, although that has now cleared away to give us our usual bright and sunny start to yet another day.

Currently around 4°C here in Edinburgh.

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.

A short sharp shower when I went into town earlier today. That caught out a few people, including me. Now sunny spells with a fresh and lazy wind. 13C was the max today.
