Some heavy rain showers for most of the day here so far, the temperature in the last 45 minutes has dropped 3.5 degrees which stands at the moment at 4.1 c and falling. and we've just had a pretty heavy hail shower, so last throws of winter?. Edit we have snow flakes falling.

Daft weather we have, it's now sunshine and calm, the temperature dropped to 2.9c in that last shower and now risen to 6.2c, crazy.

Well I moved successfully but been a stressful one and the previous tenant took the main ONT power cable so I couldn't connect to the Internet having set up my new desk and PC. So been frustrating without wifi.

Had some soft hail, sleet and even wet snow here in Okehampton but in form of showers. When I woke up this morning 0900 am it was +1.3c and there was icy pellets/graupel mixed with rain then it brightened up and around 11am there was soft hail followed buy very heavy wet snow yet the temperature rose to +4.5c before falling in the wintry shower.

Been a day of rain and hail showers mostly then just had a more prolonged period of sleet +1.8c outside. I think I am at slightly higher Altitude now at 221m asl. (725 ft). Other side of Okehampton as Okehampton is a hilly town. Changed signature.

Ditto (2.8C)

Ironic that the first frost since January should occur in almost the second half of March

I was hoping for a frost here - which would be the first in over 2 months - but it wasn't to be, too windy. 1.0 was the low, it's now 3.9, partly cloudy with a gentle WNW'ly breeze.

Like yesterday another cold day. Both days have seen a maximum of only 8 C after minimums of 1 C yesterday and 0 C this morning

Disappointing today, expected it to be mostly dry but we've had plenty of showers again this afternoon with small hail at one point

It's been a beautiful day here in good old Frome, no rain and hardly a wisp of wind, a maximum of 13.1c at 3pm so quite a contrast to yesterdays wintry feel. The Mendips yesterday had a fair covering of snow on the tops so I was told, so just maybe winter isn't quite over yet.
