Chichester 12m asl
South Dorset
Elevation 60m 197ft
Edinburgh, in the frost hollow below Blackford Hill
[Frost? what's that?]
EDIT: Didn't last long, it's dropped down to 13.5 C, more in line with my forecast. 😃 Still pleasantly mild, dry and bright though.
The date record for 3rd March according to Torro is much lower than other March dates. It is only 17.8c, so what do we think of the chances of it being beaten on Tuesday?

Lots of places along the south coast,, as far west as Hampshire, recording close to 17 but none breaking the date record - apart from 18.7C at Casa del Chonker by Southampton (and readings from a station with such a name should be looked at very carefully!)

I took my personal Delta Flyer for a quick flight in this morning's retreating sea mist and captured this faint but unobstructed brocken spectre.
