To Leith Hill today, the highest spot in the southeast in a search for snow. At 100m asl, a covering in favoured places such as pre-frozen roads or grass in shade, but a general cover above 250m, depth 1-2cm. Pictures in the TWO Gallery,

https://www.theweatheroutlook.com/twoother/sky-eye-gallery.aspx

It was very local though; no snow south of Horsham or west of Guildford, both no more than a dozen miles away.

Unsurprisingly zilch here. But my daughter reported seeing some as she drove through Surrey back to London from the South Coast. I thought she must have mistaken frost for snow till I looked on here!

Nothing yet has reached mid or south Norfolk. However, near the coast and to the east, there has been some showers today. Might drive over there tomorrow. It is forecast here for a n hour or two tomorrow at 10.00am. I’ll believe it when I see it. Showers bending east off shore mostly. We need a NE wind - not a NW wind to bring snow to EA. Maybe by Tuesday next week. Currently -3 and very frosty. Frost lasted all day in my garden today.

No hint of and little prospect of snow in forecasts yet.

There has been more snow here overnight with some graupel at times, both adding to existing accumulations.

There are snow showers coming from the north/northwest but as ever they are hit and miss.

Had unexpected Cheshire Gap streamers last night left fresh covering this morning as none was picked up from the crap models lately.  We supposed to get hard frost last night but no was strong NW winds so it a bonus as we due one tomorrow night.

Just been out to clear the paths again and measured a level 20 centimetres of snow (just under 10 of that overnight I think).

There are snow roads will be interesting over the next few days. This is mine just now:

A light covering of snow here which was a little unexpected despite the weather warning as we had rain yesterday evening. It's just started again!

Seem to be in the sweet spot in cragganmore , Speyside, 33cm currently. Making up for the drought during the summer. ! Amazingly roads still open, but most likely due to temp only being -1C .

Just cleared another 8-10cm off the paths and drive since since yesterday late pm, but actual measured depth on the car roof is 24cm - only up by 1cm from last evening. The wind has been up, blowing the snow around a bit. Interesting to see other areas around here "catching up" in terms of snow depth as the random nature of the showers continues.

Swansea had a dusting to sea level overnight with a couple of cm in the higher parts of the city.

Here in the Vale we had a handful of snow grains.
