Can't see a snow reports thread so started a new one. Could be a memorable month or another non event.

But we did have falling snow here this morning as I drove into London. Even settled a bit just south of Harlow.

A dusting here in Twells too, a pleasant surprise and making everything look nice and wintry.

Temp currently sat at 0c and mostly cloudy so should stick around for a while hopefully.

1-2cm here in Crowborough, pavements and laybys covered too which is a good indicator for me. Very fluffy though so I expect it won't hang around long once the day sets in.

It’s been light rain here, now stopped. It must have turned to snow briefly at some point since 6am as there is a very thin dusting on a few surfaces eg fence tops, shed roof and some bare soil, but mostly just wet.

The forecast for the snow across Kent and Sussex was poor but the Met covered their backs with the wide warning area.

About half a centimetre so heavy enough to cover the cul-de-sac, which is far more than I expected. It’s up to a mouse’s knees at present. In any case, it’s more than the French Alps have received over the last four weeks, so a nice surprise.

I left home at 8am to go and get my morning paper, but discovered that the pavements were like an ice rink - with a sparse sprinkling of snowflakes on top - and beat a hasty retreat.

Dusting here over a sheet of ice, large blobs of snow splattered about, which will soon go when the temp rises I guess. Hilly areas around here will have done better I am sure.

Definitely more snow in Brian's local area than a dozen or so miles further east here in St Albans. A very thin covering at best in this neck of the woods.
