I've integrated data from the Environment Agency to provide a Rainfall Tracker:

https://www.theweatheroutlook.com/twodata/uk-weather-archive-map.aspx

You can filter by station, time period, and rainfall level. The main advantage of this data source is the large number of reporting stations—over 1,000.

This is still in development, so there may be bugs.

This looks like a very useful tool Brian. At the moment I can only see a few stations with Kent as having rainfall data.

I've just fixed a bug that was preventing the map from rendering on small screens.

For example my davis has 7mm this month already but the EA gauge about 300m away reports 0.2mm over past 7 days.

So I looked at other nearby and they all show little or none over past 7 days. I think it's the time period filter not working right most likely.

Those of you with valid site accounts now have the option to view data for the last 14 and 28 days (as it becomes available, since data collection has only been running for around 12 days). I’ll also be adding options soon to view the last 31 days and/or the current month.
