I wouldn't worry about that as the more reports on here about that, the better (and thanks for the link as well).
In the vast majority of the time, It will normally be Jerry who posts those reports from your area of Edinburgh (except that he is currently sunning himself in Portugal as I write) and sometimes, he will post something which I'm about to post myself and even beat me to that, but that never stops me from posting what I'm about to report anyway.
On the subject of this morning's air frost though, I will add that this is the polar opposite of us getting our first 20+°C maximum in the spring. In recent years, we have often had to wait until the end of May or even the start of the actual summer itself though before we have got that although this year ended up being quite a notable exception to that particular pattern and even with that, our first 20+°C maximum of this year didn't happen until April.
Yet, we have usually always been getting our first air frost of the season in October and sometimes even as early as September as has been the case on this occasion and given the current ongoing era of climate change and our warming planet, that is very remarkable indeed.
