I was sure Valley got to 33.5C in August 2003 and Porthmadog got several 33s in 2018 so surprised they’re not on the list.

Highest I can see for 2018 was another 33.0C at Porthmadog on 29 June mentioned by Trevor Harley.

32C at Usk so far. Not very often that the highest temperature in the UK is in Wales, at least not in summer (north Wales sometime is in winter foehn conditions)

Noticeable temperature drop down this way today, need a jumper on to sit on the shade and with a very refreshing breeze. No heatwave here, last two days we just about managed 27c but today we made 22c.

Had a trip up the the house I bought in Cumbria today. Planted a few plants in the garden and now I'm sat on a beach with an ice cream. Why waste a great day like this just painting or filling?

A lovely 28°C, even up here.

Fabulous day here - max 25.4C. So looks like after yesterday's 29.3C Thursday will be the only day in the 30's here at 32.3C.

32.6c in both Cardiff and Usk. So touch and go if we get a all time top ten.

It's 21.4C here in the shade with a gentle NE'ly breeze. It feels incredibly pleasant compared to the utter dross we've had over the past few weeks (aside from Monday where it only got to 22). It's a sad reminder of what we've lost, as back in the 90s this would have been a perfectly normal summer's day.

It's still 27C upstairs and 25C downstairs, mind you... the very fabric of the house is acting like an unwelcome storage heater. It'll be back to the new normal tomorrow, the MetO raw has 25 to 29 now for the next 6 days. Tuesday still looks very useable on the GFS (21, some rain, a breeze) but the MetO raw is having none of it. I suspect the MetO will be right, but some rain would be wonderful!

Aviemore's reporting 31C as of 6PM, compared to 21.2C IMBY at the same time. There can't be many times, in summer, when Aviemore is 10C warmer than here!

33.1c in both Ross-on-Wye and Bute Park. So a top 10 Welsh temp.

Tomorrow looks a bit touch and go for 30C+ but somewhere in the west should do it. Notable how the breeze has picked up here this evening cooling it off a bit.

10 days of 30ºC so far this summer, all in the past three weeks. Not bad.

Well in the end Hay-on-Wye came out top at 32c. (According to Daily Mail) None of the record breaking temps for Wales came off that one or two on here were predicting.

As far as I can see there isn't even an official weather station at Hay-on-Wye.

APS: thanks for the link. Seems like the person who made it is already counting today as the 11th 30C day which is by no means guaranteed.
