Today in the East Mids it's a fair bit cooler than it was yesterday. This got me thinking, what's the largest recorded high temperature difference between two consecutive days in the UK (at the same location)? Google results for this weren't very forthcoming although I did find this post on this forum about the largest difference within one day:

My related questions would be, what's the largest low temperature difference between two consecutive days, the largest average temperature difference between two consecutive days, and the largest temperature difference between two consecutive days for the same measurement time? Today and yesterday aren't going to break any records (it's only 7-9C difference between those questions) but I'd be interested to know this trivia :^)
