28.5c in St James's Park we are getting close but probably won't quite get there today. Tomorrow looks almost certain. We could get four 30c + days in a row from tmrw

However I'm quite happy for Brian to give the prize to someone else if he sees fit as today wasn't my first guess - it's actually my third!  

Brian had said further back in the thread that if your guess had passed unsuccessfully then you could try again so I did - twice 🤣

Official high today was 32.2C at both Heathrow and Kew Gardens according to the Met Office. A gnat’s whisker under 90F in old money.
