Oddly the temperature is climbing 😲 it's risen 0.5C in 15 minutes. Wind is currently coming off the mainland.
Heavy shower now in Ingleton, Yorkshire but no fireworks again 🙄
Edinburgh, in the frost hollow below Blackford Hill
Mostly clear, calm, very muggy and slightly misty. It was a very uncomfortable night.
15.7, dew 14.9, the overnight low so far also being 15.7.

Misty with low cloud slowly lifting and showing signs of breaking. Overnight we have had 10mm of rain but without any thunder. Currently 14.1c
Little or no rain overnight. A familiar weather story for those in "The Horseshoe around The Wash". Rather like the human population which passes by Lincolnshire and moves on elsewhere. 🤣🤣🤣 A bright warm day already 17C, variable light wind, judging by local flags.
West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire
Everything taken together, here in Lincolnshire are more good things than man could have had the conscience to ask.

Anway, today has started off on a dull, wet and miserable note here in Edinburgh and it is absolutely chucking it down here as I write (a total of 12.0 mm of rain has fallen at Edinburgh Gogarbank in the space of just the last 3 hours) but despite the official Met Office yellow warning, there are no thunderstorms anywhere near here and not even any really bright echoes showing up on the radar maps.
This morning has started off on a cooler note than of late though with the temperature currently at around 12°C here in Edinburgh
18.3C cloudy. Rain - what's that?
However, there is still a breeze coming in from off the North Sea which is also still bringing in a lot of easterly muck.
Meanwhile, today is quite a lot cooler than yesterday with the temperature pegged back at a rather pathetic 14°C here in Edinburgh which isn't even the least bit warm for this time of year any more.😡
20.4C. Mainly sunny with 4 - 6 SW winds making an otherwise pleasant afternoon uncomfortable to be outside in open places.
In what has ended up being a complete write-off of a day here in Edinburgh, it has remained overcast with further showers having turned up.
In fact, today's weather has been so bad here that it caused a major festival event in Leith (an area which has its own festival that is separate from the more famous Edinburgh Festival) to be cancelled as a result.
Currently, a rather miserable 13°C here in Edinburgh and after a couple of warm days, it hasn't taken long for this summer to go completely down the toilet pan once again.😡
Warmer than this time yesterday, but it feels much cooler and fresher - the difference a lower dewpoint makes! The breeze helps too, albeit it's still nearly 30C upstairs...
This time yesterday: 22.6, dew 18.1
Today: 22.7, dew 13.7.
The high today was 25.1, compared to 25.5 yesterday.
The cloud has now broken up a bit and the Sun has finally decided to make an appearance here in Edinburgh, although it has a cheek to do so now at such a late stage of the day given the type of day which we've had.
Currently around 14°C here in Edinburgh
16C sunny, some cloud to the south over the Channel
17.1C. Sunny spells and light westerly wind.
First of all, I would like to wish all Dads out there a very Happy Father's Day.
As for our weather, today is a bit better than today and it has even been dry up until now, but it's still not been all that great today.
There was a little bit of sunshine this morning, but it's generally been another cloudy day and it's completely overcast just now yet again as I speak.
The one consolation is that we don't have those winds from off the North Sea which we had yesterday and this means that we at least don't have those ridiculously cool temperatures (for this time of year) today which we had yesterday but even with that, it's still not even the least bit warm for this time of the year with a temperature of just around 16°C here in Edinburgh.😡
East Galway, Ireland.
12C earlier now above 15C with patchy cloud but mainly sunny and calm.
13.3C sunny. Contrails forming but quickly evaporating
Heading north from Newark to Edinburgh on the LNER. North of York and it's a beautiful June day again. Pale blue sky and occasional cumulus. Weatheronline reporting 21 C outside
Fair bit of the cloud around but still rather warm.
Currently 23.8CÂ
24.5C
Clouds have largely cleared. Milky blue hue though to the sky.Â
