The rain has cleared away and it has brightened up a bit with occasional sunny intervals at times although there is still a lot of cloud around.

The wind has also picked up quite a lot from the SW, but it's fairly warm with a temperature of around 17°C here in Edinburgh

12:45 and we have a very gusty wind which is wrecking the garden and bringing small branches and leaves off the trees. It's roaring round the house like a winter gale. Despite this it's mostly sunny with strong sun and almost 20 C!

More sunshine in this warm sector than was forecast locally, hence currently 23°C instead of the max 21 forecast this morning. Humid too, making the sunshine feel particularly hot. Blustery SW wind.

Much the same here at this end of the country. A mild feeling breezy sort of weather.

The winds though are not near gale force like yesterday with all the garden plant damage they did. Not much rain in this unsettled spell so it looks like next week for a possible drought buster here. We'll see.

As many have noted above, the humidity and wind seemed like an odd combination today, it was certainly warmer than forecast.

Today's max was 24.3c with a DP of 18.1c

Currently a very pleasant 19.4c

Not as warm, or as windy today. But 18 C feels fine in the strong sunny intervals.

One of those horrible airless, stuffy nights with not a breath of wind, the sort where you sweat through the night and feel more tired when you get up than when you went to bed!

23C indoors (which is the overnight low), 15.5 outside with a 14.8 dewpoint, under a thick blanket of cloud. The low was 13.2 and yesterday's high was 24.0.

The warm air wafting north over Eastern parts has made it as far as Edinburgh. We are almost at 20C and it's feeling a touch humid out in the garden. There are some good sunny spells ahead of this afternoon's cold front

Fair with hazy sun & varied high cloud amounts and sea mist ebbing to & fro. 16.8 C & high-80% H in a light onshore SW breeze. Not really that conductive for sitting outside on garden chair but ideal for most intents and purposes.

There's now a breeze from the SE - see if you can spot when it kicked in! 🥵

25.7, dew 17.6, and that's the high so far today. The chap over the road (who also has a weather station) had a similarly rapid rise. It feels stifling out there, and that 25 was completely effortless.
