As we are into the start of another brand new month, it is time to start a brand new thread for this month's rainfall totals in your area.

The winter of 2024/25 was a drier than average winter here and February 2025 was also drier than average, so this year has once again started off on a very dry note here as most years do these days with the exception of last year.

This is now the first month of the meteorological spring but going forward, there aren't too many signs of much of the way of any significant rainfall on the horizon with high pressure looking set to be in charge for the foreseeable future.

Because of that, I'm expecting this thread to be very quiet to begin with at least but I have created it just now anyway because there is still the remote possibility that you might still have something to report for this month and by creating this thread just now, this now gives you the opportunity to do that.

Regardless of how all of this pans out though, this is the very thread for reporting those all important rainfall totals for this month.

We had 19mm over the weekend which was lovely. Not sure what that takes the monthly total to because I was away earlier in the month and unable to record the totals. I wouldn't think the rest of the month has amounted to much though.

March finished with 27.4mm here. A dry month, after a dry February (38.2mm) too.

It's nice to have these dry months back. They've been greatly missed since June 2023.
