Calm and rair with hazy sun and high cloud, 7.7 C & mid 90% H currently.

Juuuuuust about managed a slight frost at dawnbreak when it was 2.9 C at the time.

PS: Hope ARTzeman is still with us as I've noticed last time he posted was 11th January. I know we rarely reply to each other but he's been a little fixture in this site, like a favourite lamp for snow watching.

2.7C, light E-ly, clear and sunny, no frost.

Spring is coming - sun far enough above the horizon to send sunlight over the local roofs into my bedroom.

Hardly notable even for here for this time of year. How things have changed.

I'll have to close the blind on the office door soon.

Well defined convective-looking cumulus streamers are actually setting up in a freshening north east breeze, but at 7 C & 4 C DP and not too much in the way of instability mean hopes for seeing any wintry stuff remains very low. 😁

A marked change compared to yesterday (which was largely sunny) - it's overcast, with spits and spots of drizzle, and a surprisingly gusty ENE'ly wind coming in from the North Sea - gusting into the 40s.

5.4, dew 2.0. Last night's low was 5.2 and yesterday's high was 8.2.

What looks suspiciously like a convergence line has set up shop over Kent, including my neck of the woods. There's been frequent bouts of small hail, as well as cold rain.

Overcast but still dry. 4.9 C & mid 80% (2 C dp). It's the brisk east wind that is making it feel quite raw.

Still underwhelming as a cold spell on the whole, but that was to be expected anyway.
