Just about clearing through. About an hour of heavy rain, very intense at times but no hail. I can see the brightness to the west.

Indeed. Not a violent storm wind wise but still these are atrocious conditions to be out and about.

Lots of hail with around 7-8 loud rumbles in about 5 minutes. Lightning was overhead.

Yes I've been fully informed of the storms down there, my brother lives just outside Chudleigh and he's been rubbing me up the wrong way all morning about the storms you've been getting, apart from a little bit of sleet earlier and some largish hailstones we've had nothing here, most annoying.

Good to see the "lake effect" still works, even if it's a few degrees too warm!
