A remarkably stable temperature here - I'd almost think my thermometer was broken, as it hasn't changed in almost two hours!

The dewpoint gives it away, though, it's gradually falling as the front approaches.

And the irony... just as I was pasting in that image above, the temperature fell to 2.8! The thermometer is still working. 😂

Ice pellets mixed with rain in Exeter.  Back.to Okehampton is 1.4c with drizzle so the temperature has dropped. I expect that's it now.

Back to dismal grey skies after yesterday's wonderful clear blue skies, one of the few this winter. Today was, however, the coldest day time max of the winter so far helped with no solar heating. In reality it probably won't end up that way as I expect the temperature to rise above its current 3.5C as the evening progresses. At least we had our first two air frosts of the winter in the last two nights. not started raining yet.

Today's maximum temperature at Edinburgh Gogarbank is officially confirmed as 3.4°C but the temperature here in Edinburgh is now down to -2°C and so, our 100% record for official air frosts at all three of my local stations this year goes on for what is now its 4th night.
The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
