Back in September, Hungry Tiger said in the autumn moaning thread that we were welcome to post any statistics on there but I believe that the final statistics for any season deserve their own thread which will then remain within the main weather forum and not be lost to the classics forum.
That is why I have started this thread so that anyone can post their final statistics for the autumn, give their general thoughts on how the autumn went and possibly even rate that out of ten (or whatever they decided to mark that out of).

Conclusion
Temperatures in the autumn of 2024 were very close to average with an above average number of air frosts and a notable snow event from Storm Bert in November.
September was slightly colder than average overall but without any air frosts whereas October was slightly milder than average with November then having around average temperatures overall but both October and November had an above average number of air frosts.
As for rainfall, September and October were both slightly wetter than average but November was an exceptionally dry month and despite it being the autumn's only drier than average month in the end, that was enough for the autumn as a whole to be considerably drier than average.
Meanwhile, the autumn of 2024 was duller than average overall with all three autumn months being duller than average.
The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
