There were some promising signs earlier, in that the uniform dark grey lifted to a palette of lighter greys, but it's now back with a vengeance.
The temperature's also dropped again, having reached the giddy heights of 11.8 earlier it's now down to 10.6, and there's a gentle breeze from the east.
10.6, dew 9.4. Last night's low was 10.9, warmer than it is now!
Overnight low of 11C and a high so far of 12.3C.
Looks like some spots in NW Scotland remained above 15 C last night 😲
