Well up to the 28th here this was just a slightly wet month, but the rain event of the 30th has turned this into the wettest September I've recorded in 42 years of records, with 122mm of rain.

The 30th is also the wettest September day I've ever recorded at 55mm, and indeed this is the wettest day I've ever recorded outside of the Summer months.  It is also the equal 4th wettest day I've recorded, tied with June 24th, 2007.    The bulk of the rainfall I think fell from around 5pm to 10pm, just continuous, driving heavy rain in this period.

Very dry September relatively speaking here in the west of Ireland... or at least in this part of it. 38.6mm in total for September.
