As usual, it's clear and completely windless. At least it's not hot - yet.

12.5, dew 10.7, with the low so far being 12.1. Yesterday's high was 24.9 (a late one again, at half five).

First nearly clear dawn in a while with just some cirrus to our east. Cool with a temperature of 10.8c at present. 

As has been mentioned on the output discussion down here we do suffer from a lot of cloud especially in mobile weather set ups….. like this summer. However if you are east of the moors it can be a different story.

Fine and sunny but a comfortable 20.8 C & high 70% with a mod E breeze adding to the freshness. Perfect for airing my house out with all windows open, especially after giving my next door neighbour a hand with their bonfire yesterday (sorry for the reduced air quality locally).

Almost five hours later and it's 27.1c with humidity at 36%, a fair amount of high cloud and some cumulonimbus dotted about, making it somewhat hazy. There's a slight breeze too, keeping it pleasant enough.

It's a nice enough day here in Hawick with plenty of sunshine but as has been the case throughout this summer, we still CANNOT get a completely sunny day and there continues to be a lot of cloud around yet again.

Today is warmer than of late at around 20°C but that is still cooler than what it was forecast to be today.

It feels a lot warmer than that though although it is also a bit breezy.

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.

Edinburgh Gogarbank has just experienced its warmest day of this month so far and its second warmest day of this year so far with a maximum temperature of 23.1°C.

Here in Hawick, today's highest temperature was around 22°C with increasing amounts of sunshine.

Here in the Dales we actually had a sunny morning. But then the high cloud moved in and spoiled things. Eventually that moved away to give us a sunny evening and we reached 21 C! Very nice.

Away but my PWS hit 25.0c today.

Here, a lovely day in central London. High of 27.0c but some fair weather cloud and a bit of a breeze at times made it pleasant enough walking about.

This evening warm and comfortable sat outside until at least 9pm. Next few days may be a bit more challenging though.

A much cloudier start to this morning than was the case yesterday but even with that, the Sun is still increasingly breaking through as the morning wears on.

On a day which is forecast to be cooler than yesterday, we're starting off at around 15°C but I wouldn't be surprised if today ended up being warmer than what is actually being forecast for today.

Currently in Budapest where it was a toasty 35-36c yesterday……currently a lovely sunny morning and 23c…….will be a lot different next week for my camping trip up on the north coast of Scotland at Durness and Thurso 😭

A very disappointing day here in Hawick considering the original forecasts for the first part of this week.

It's overcast with a cool wind and the temperatures are refusing to rise, remaining stuck at around 17°C which isn't even the least bit warm for this time of the year.🤢
