I took advantage of registrations being open. 
Very long time lurker (I think I may have an account under an old email)


Note,
the email verification process appeared to be broken. Clicking the link in the verification email gave an error 
" Failed to verify email address." Tried copying the approval key and it still failed.

I think something in the sendgrid link breaks\corrupts the code.

With a username like that, I'm guessing that you might well be from Edinburgh and support a certain football team from there which plays in green and white.

If so (not that this actually matters anyway in the context of this forum), that is the same football team which I support myself (they are even playing tonight as I write), so it is good to come across someone who supports the same team as me as well.

I am from the north of Edinburgh having originally been born and brought up in Leith but although there are other members of this forum who live in Edinburgh, they tend to be in the south of the city, so it would be nice to have more members on here who come from the north of Edinburgh as well.

Anyway, I know that this is a weather forum and not a football forum, but I hope that you will enjoy your time on here.

Yes, I noticed that you had posted in the Model Output thread just recently and mentioned there that you now live in West Lothian. Having said that, I'm not sure about whether or not there are other members of this forum who live in West Lothian, so it's nice to know someone who does as I like to see every part of the UK being represented here by at least, somebody.

Just a shame that last night's result wasn't a good one after they had done so well in the first half (they were actually winning at half time). In fact, it's been a very poor season so far by our standards for both the men's and women's teams (although the women's team at least did well to get to a cup final just recently).

Still, we can only hope that this is just a blip and that they can get back to winning ways before too long.

I too, am on the autistic spectrum but there is a group of people on here who have been very good at taking that into consideration and I'm sure that this will be the case in your scenario.

I'm also pleased that you have brought that our attention right away. I didn't do that when I first joined back in 2016 and as a result, I had quite a rough start to life on here because I was dealing with people who didn't understand my situation because I hadn't even told them about that.

As a result of you bringing that to the fore right away, you should hopefully be able avoid the same issues because of that which i had to deal with in the very beginning and because of that, I'm now kind of wishing that I had done that myself at the very start.

I just signed up! been following TWO since way back.......early 2000's.  I would class myself as an Amateur, Amateur😁

love reading all the great posts and viewpoints and weather information.
