A channel streamer overnight has given me 3 mm of cold rain showers since my 12 am station reset. All that, along with the recent cloudy muck, has been replaced by clear skies and actual sunshine this morning thanks to a change in wind direction.
  Still not that desperately cold at 7 C but the cold front currently moving southwards over the UK is yet to arrive here.

The first air frost of the season here this morning, with a low of -0.6°C. It's the latest air frost I've ever seen.

Frequent heavy showers with sleety hail they soon move through though. It's 4C
Wind is actually a touch west of north which will often keep them away from easy coast.

O.7 degrees and clear. Hopefully it will remain clear and give us our first air frost of the year. Which will be the latest first frost that I can ever remember.

Still very showery and much more sleety this evening - there will be some slushy cover higher up as it's about 2C here.
