So far not so hot in Scotland - they need to go some to beat the national record. Borders probably the most likely area.
Seems to be holding steady at around 31 C in my back yard after an overnight low of 24.2 C at 12.15 am.I'm actually not feeling that bad by not sweating with a fan close by and my elderly mother also has her own fan next to her bed and she is still asleep. Although I have noticed outdoors humidity have just shot up to 50% thus bringing DP at 18 C after having been sub 15 C with low 30 % H in past few hours.Still, like I said before I'm glad I no longer work in a tomato greenhouse.

It's mental isn't it.
The one consolation is that it's dry heat.

We decided to sleep in the garden but got too cold at about 3am so returned inside. The overnight low on my VP2 was 19.4C, but I expect it was at last a couple of degrees lower around Berkhamsted.
