This game is far from over - Marseille having crept back into it over the last 20 mins of the first half. By and large a good performance from United though.

Half time at Old Trafford with Man U still one goal to the good, but O'Shea off with a hamstring problem.

I've got a bad feeling about this game.......... Plenty of good stuff from Man U, but I can see Marseille nicking a draw or even getting the win

Just got home from work to see the last couple of minutes of the Man u Marseilles game, and close it was. My worst fears were realised with a great own goal from that waste of space Brown, however Man U managed to scrape through to the last eight.

Amazing turn around in Germany though where Bayern were comfortable against Inter, but in the last couple of minutes of the game were dumped out of the competition having lost 2-3

Just seen the replay of the Wes Brown own goal................maybe I was a bit harsh on him, but the fact remains he is a liability IMO

Going into the run in of all the tournaments we desperately need vidic and Ferdinand fit.

I thought Man U would lose last night, or go out on away goals with a score draw, I missed the game as I was out but was pleasantly surprised to see them progress

No doubt that Smalling is a talent though.

Chelsea ease through, with Torres maintaining his consistent run of form, even if only off the bench.

I'm torn really as I find Torres to be quite a likable sort of chap as footballers go. But I don't want him to help Chelsea to return to being the dominant force in English football.

Conversely, I would like to see Liverpool return to being a real force in the game but hope that the child shaggin/woman beating long haired criminal that is Carroll suffer a torrid time before having his career cut short by injury

Shiteh go out 1-0. Oh well, it was good while it lasted, but I did want them to stay in so they could get even more worn out over the next few weeks. Still, at least Tagliatelle-Spaghetti got sent off.

Anyway, here's Einstein in action attempting to put on a bib before the match.

Draw today, what's the betting that Chelsea get one of the other English sides and then the the winner will take on the third remaining club in the semis - if that team gets through against Uefa All stars.......sorry, Barcelona

As far as Rangers are concerned, very disappointed indeed with them. I really thought they would beat PSV and advance to the quarter-finals- wasn't to be though.
