Looking at the latest live footage, it would seem that things are on the wane again. Certainly the eruptive area seems to be much more contracted compared to yesterday at least.

2 min long live cam video capture (speeded up x2) showing the moment when the fissure erupted. No time stamp on that particular MLD feed unfortunately but time of eruption is said to have been around 1.15pm GMT.

There is a time stamp on the video capture, in the very bottom right, it's very faint so you can barely see it, but it's there Thanks for sharing

Didn't spot that time stamp WW. Blind as a bat!

I find it hard to believe though that the amount of lava being spewed is greater than that of last year's event (at least at the start of it) which to me, was far more impressive in scale.
Current conditions (personal WS)
Very poor views on the lives cams the last couple of days owing to low cloud and perpetual misty drizzle. The North Atlantic weather.. you just can't beat it.
It’s a bit like Aberdeen (but with volcanoes) according to Richard.
A clearer view on the cams today thankfully and a nice shield building up now around the main lava fountain.
Yes, it has grown significantly in the last couple of days as well as having an impressive lava field:

Will be interesting to see now how long this will last and if it will become the giant that 'Nar' did.
As of now, the whole spectacle seems to be on the wane. Volcano only really producing smoke now. May fire up again sometime or perhaps more fissures will open up sometime in the future, much like in the early days of 2021 event.
The latest eruption began on Sunday night at Moku'āweoweo, the volcano's summit caldera. Calderas are hollows that form beneath the summit at the end of an eruption."
