Still only 1 C at Glasgow and Edinburgh airports at 1130 with the rain now into the Southern Uplands. From my walk up the hill this morning I could see the snowy mountains in clear air well to the north. A big bank of sea fog sat in the Forth. To my south I could see the huge rain system which is moving towards us. Still patches of snow on the Lammermuirs, Moorfoots and Pentlands waiting for a top up!
Oh, hello, the sun has come out thus making the current 10.3 c feel positively spring-like for it and even the wind has eased off, but is also muggy & damp after 9.4 mm of rain last night.
Mostly cloudy with some almighty gusts just now!11.4C, dew 9.1C and a high so far of 11.8C. It's like a spring day...
I feel I’m repeating myself on this thread..
9.8c with thick dark grey monotone sky with drizzle and a strong a strong SSW wind gusting to 45mph.
