I'm starting to wonder if 13.9 might be possible for this September? Guess it will depend how big the downwards correction is assuming we get one this month?

So another 0.1C off yesterday. Think we can assume we'll get another 0.1C off today given how cool and damp it is in the Midlands. That gets us to 14.2C before downwards corrections.

So whether we get to 13.9C will depend on how big the downwards correction is this month (if we get one at all)

Has certainly been another very impressive CET collapse in this final week or so...

For a 30-day month, that's an impressive decline from the (provisional) 15.4c on the 24th!

Annual CET competition - September update

Not much change at the top of the table this month. Darren S has a comfortable lead at this point.

I should be top 5 now!

Robbed! Unprecedented and unforseen cold period to end the month. At around the 12th, I'd have staked my life on finishing up around 15c.

Yes it was a sickening collapse in that last week which has caused me to drop places rather than rise up the table. Congrats to Frank for an inspired guess!

Onwards we go...
