But the trade off is a very few weeks of inconvenience versus being seriously ill or dead or making a relative seriously ill or killing them.

There really shouldn't be any contest here.

Given your lack of empathy for young lovers taking a stroll I'm surprised to find you showing empathy for those stuck indoors for what has only been a few days.

As for being in love or not, there is no excuse to walk through what is still a relatively busy park, hand in hand, forcing other people to move into grass or muddy areas. Everyone needs to be playing their part.

As i`m classed as Very Vulnerable, (age 78, with Primary Myelofibrosis for the last 9 years or so, and heart trouble as well)
If I go down with it I wouldn`t think there is much hope of recovery.

i havn`t been out of the house for the last couple of weeks and the wife does the shopping on her own, she has to walk everywhere as she never learned to drive.

However tomorrow I have an appointment at Christie`s, that`s usually crowded with full waiting rooms etc, so I`m not looking forward to that!

Anyway my point was that if you are living with someone 24 hours a day surely you can be a bit aware of others when you go on your daily walk. It is the one time of the day you need to be aware of other people's space.

Hope it goes ok for you tomorrow. I live just opposite the Christie, will be thinking of you.

So very sad. But it’s good that today it looks like we’ve tested a good deal of people.

Scotland changing the way it reports deaths so today's figures are artificially low according to Sturgeon. Why another change?
